The dashboard below presents statistics on the composition of the House of Lords by political party and group since the 1999–2000 session. You can use the dashboard to see the relative proportion of House of Lords members belonging to the largest political parties during individual parliamentary sessions and to compare select statistics on voting behaviour, including government defeats, across sessions. The dashboard data is refreshed every 24 hours.

The dashboard data refreshes overnight. You can also download an Excel spreadsheet of the data which is updated monthly. The spreadsheet was last updated on 18 March 2026.

If you would like to access a printable version of the dashboard or the Excel spreadsheet, these can be downloaded using the buttons below. If you require an alternative format, please email [email protected] and we will review your request.
