Work of the House of Lords: Statistics

This House of Lords Library Note presents statistics from a variety of sources on the work of the House. Included are figures on membership, attendance, sitting days, length of sittings, non-legislative business, Bills and divisions. The majority of figures presented have been collected by the House of Lords or otherwise published, although in many cases this is the first time they have been compiled in a form which allows comparisons to be made over long periods of time.
